waiting for his return

When Renjiro tried to remove the eye from Jeremy's face Jeremy activated its power. He dived into Renjiro's mind and took control, forcing him to let go.

"DO NOT touch me again. Now I don't know who you people are, but I have been in the shadow real for the last 6 years. I know this because I checked the date on today's newspaper before coming here. This fake has been impersonating me ever sense. And I would still be there now if I hadn't met that Nick character. Luckily for me he was generous enough to give me this eye so that I could escape."

jewel blinked. "you saw nick?!?!?" she said as she blinked. "where is he?? is he oaky?" she said gasping running up to the new jeremy. "tell me??" she said as she palced a hand on jeremy. "i believe you, that you are the jeremy," she said a smile on her face.

Nick walked in the room. "I'm perfectly fine, Jewel, but I can't say the same for Thanatos...Jeremy explained the whole thing, I've never met the real Jeremy, and neither have you all. This is him, and Thanatos is toast!" Nick said, his Millenium Ring glowing, and the Eye of Millenia (The eye that appears on the forehead of people using Millenium items) appearing on his forehead, yet Nick was keeping control. "I have finaly learned to control the Ring's power, and I'm sure Jeremy will quickly learn about the eye." Jeremy pulled out three 'Hero's Bond' cards. "See, Jewel? Even though he's never met us, he already shares a bond, which is why I am giving Renjiro, Jeremy, and Kurai a Hero's Bond, just like I gave you one, and I have one as well. Thanatos, I don't know what you want with the Underworld deck, you may have Jewel's, Jeremy's, and I, but you won't get Jaden, Renjiro, or Syrus's. And on that note..." Nick said as he pulled out a deck and placed it in his duel disk. "Everybody...get out, NOW!" Nick said as his Ring started glowing brighter. "I am going to the Shadow Realm, and I'm taking Thanatos with me..." The Ring's light is now almost blinding. "As Jeremy explained, you can't escape the Shadow Realm without a Millenium Item, so I'll just take him with me and escape. I may not see you for weeks, maybe years, but I will return. If you feel sad, look at the Hero's Bond, we will never truely be apart..."

Renjiro know this would be bad because if any of them got caught in the shadow realm they wouldnt be able to leave. With that he grabbed jewel and ran as fast as he could out of the doorm while grabbing kurais hand and draging her behind him "Come on quickly"

Kurai lets him drag her out, a conserned/confued look on her face.

jewel blinked. "but!! jeremy... and nick???" she said thrashing about. "dam you! hasn't your mother ever told you not to wrestle with a girl!!" she said crossing her arms. "hmph!"

Thanatos stood and held up his hand. Suddenly all six cards appeared in his hand. Then he spoke

"I have already acquired all the cards I need." said Thanatos and he disappeared in a haze of darkness.

Jeremy ran from the room. He knew where Thanatos was going and he had to get there in time to stop him. Jeremy ran as fast as he could toward the volcano that was just behind the school

Renjiro noticed jeremy and nick running towards the back of the school. "This aint good". Renjiro then followed them as he hoped he could do good up there.

jewel blinked. "hey!! where are you going?!!?" she said stomping her foot and taking off after him.

Kurai blinked "wait for me!!!!" she yells as she runs after Jewel.

Jeremy reached the place he was looking for. The fake Jeremy, Thanatos, stood over a box with six card sized slits in the top. Then he inserted the cards he had won from the others into the slits and the box was unlocked. Just as this happened Jeremy collapsed. Thanatos removed the cards from the box and turned around to see the people chasing after him.

"Perfect, now one of you can be the first victim of the Underworld Cards."

Renjiro arrived at the volcano breathing heavily and just in time to catch jeremy before he feel to the ground "You ok dude?"

"You Renjiro, you will be my first opponent. But the Underworld cards wont work for me unless I wager something valuable. So I wager this. My Millennium Rod. And you will wager your rarest card."

Thanatos activated his duel disk and drew his starting 5 cards.

I wager my Qu – Master of the Dark Magicians. He activates his duel discand draws 6 cards "My go, i summon 1 card face down and place two face downs. i then place two face downs. I scarifice both those face down to summon Dark Magician Queen in attack mode. Now i activate her special effect allowing me to summon a card with dark magician in its name that i have in my hand and that happens to be a Dark magician. next i place 1 card face down. i end my go"
